RECOACTIV® Heart Tonic

The RECOACTIV® Heart Tonic is a low-sodium, tasty supplementary feed, developed for cats with cardiac dysfunction and as a preventative addition to the daily diet.

The product is suitable for all older cats from the age of seven to eight years, especially for those with diagnosed cardiac insufficiency. Furthermore, the product can also be used to support pedigree cats with a predisposition in earlier phases of life. Breeds that are often affected include Maine Coons and Persians.

Taurine is an essential aminosulfonic acid for cats that cannot be produced by the cat itself and must therefore be ingested in sufficient quantities through the daily diet. If the cat suffers from a lack of taurine, it can lead to a weakening of the heart function.

Due to the heart's ability to compensate, heart failure remains undetected for a long time. It is therefore recommended to add taurine to the feed as a preventative measure from senior age at the latest.

RECOACTIV® products contain important vitamins and trace elements and consist of natural, food-grade ingredients. They are free of grain, sugar, coloring and preservatives.

Feeding Recommendation

The RECOACTIV® Heart Tonic is given with the feed, always with the meals.

Dosage:

2 x 5 ml per day for up to 4 kg body weight

2 x 7.5 ml per day from 4 kg body weight

Duration of use :

The product should be given at least 1 month. Long-term use is also possible if required.

It is recommended to adapt the feeding to the development of the animal and to adapt the daily ration to several small meals.
(The supplied measuring cup makes it easier to determine the correct amount of liquid)

Shake vigorously before use.
