RECOACTIV® RECOVERY Renal reduces the absorption of phosphate
RECOVERY Renal for cats is a complete diet straight feed that was specially developed with a view to kidney dysfunction. It contains only a few, but very high-quality proteins, on the one hand to ensure the necessary supply, but at the same time to limit the exposure to undesirable phosphates to a minimum in order to reduce the work of the kidneys.
The phosphate content is so low that the RECOVERY Renal in a recommended 50:50 combination with the usual "favorite food" is still classified as a diet food. An often critical feed changeover can be avoided or this can be easily mastered with the support of RECOVERY Renal thanks to its outstanding acceptance.
Due to its liquid form and the high energy it contains, RECOVERY Renal is suitable as a complete feed in nutritional crises, be it due to illness or complaints in the mouth and throat area, and for rapid weight gain.
RECOACTIV® Recovery Renal is a liquid, wholesome food (complete feed) whose high and high-quality protein content (source exclusively poultry) supports the preservation of muscle substance without burdening the organism with too much phosphorus.
Low mineral values, supplemented and combined with appropriate vitamin complexes and little but high-quality protein, ensure optimal support for the weakened kidneys. The serious consequences of this illness such as loss of appetite and dehydration can be alleviated by RECOACTIV® Recovery Renal.
Due to the very high energy density (2 kcal / g), the daily requirement can be covered with a small amount of feed. RECOACTIV® Recovery Renal is also suitable as tube feeding.
